What a gorgeous 'spring' like day. Started out sunny and stayed sunny.
Sunny, sunny, sunny and a nice warm -5. I went out for a 16k(10miles) ruck with a 23Kg(50lbs) pack. Lots of fresh snow, and a lot of people on the trail - meant I had to pause a lot to step to side to maintain 2m spacing. Totally messed my pacing.
Couple of one person wide bridges. Had to wait for several cycles of people passing, tourists taking pictures, ugh. That's what happens on the nice days. People come out from the cities to take in the sights and nature.
People come out to see the 120 year old limestone kilns. It's actually pretty cool... and was quite a settlement at the turn of the 20th century.
Any how a great day all around, even with all the city folks 😀
Here's how the day started out
