Hola, querido hiver.

Desde que me he despertado ha estado lloviendo hasta hace pocos minutos. Agua de la que cae bien, suave y continua para que el suelo la retenga durante más tiempo y rellene las agotadas reservas. Lo negativo de esta circunstancia es que el paseo matutino de Rocky ha tenido que ser más breve y no he ido a las compras para la casa. Espero compensar con la salida de la tarde para llegar al mínimo de actividad.

¿Has probado ya los decks (mazos) y las waves (olas) de Ecency? Conforme voy acostumbrándome a esta nueva forma de organizar los contenidos que me gustan de Hive los encuentro más prácticos. De un solo vistazo controlo si hay novedades con las que interactuar, y dicho sea de paso mi cuenta de puntos Ecency está subiendo sin apenas darme cuenta, gracias a publicar alguna que otra ola durante el día y respondiendo a las de otros.

Hoy se celebra el Power Up Day (PUD). Yo no lo hago desde hace meses, prefiero encender todo el Hive en cuanto lo tengo en lugar de esperar. A cambio soy de los pocos usuarios que consigue cumplir con el Power Up Month (PUM), cosa que logro a través de estos reportes que tengo configurados al 100% de recompensas en HP. Mi objetivo es no conformarme con eso y alcanzar el Power Up Year en 2023. ¡Casi está hecha la primera mitad del camino! ¿Llegaré a la meta? Espero que sí. De momento me centro en el día a día y sigo adelante.

Mi reflexión

Con el nuevo mes cambiamos de aspecto principal a meditar. Una vez distinguidas las acciones concretas que debemos ejecutar nos enfrentamos a los problemas que encontraremos. Te lo montes como te lo montes, siempre aparece alguno. Los estoicos lo llamaban praemeditatio malorum, que puede traducirse como premeditación de la adversidad.

La teoría es sencilla: ante cada obstáculo que nos encontremos por el camino y que entorpezca nuestros planes, usaremos la cláusula inversa que tengamos preparada. ¿En qué consiste esta última? En anticiparnos a todo eso que nos puede salir mal y establecer un plan alternativo a seguir para esos casos.

Ojo, te advierto que te puedes ver inmerso en el pesimismo antes de tiempo, y eso no contribuye al éxito de nuestra misión. Lo digo por experiencia. Pero también reconozco que es útil para mantener la serenidad y sirve para reconducirnos con mayor rapidez. La prioridad es regresar a la senda marcada una vez eliminado el impedimento que la obstaculizaba.

En resumen, por si te he liado más de la cuenta, es que te anticipes a la ley de Murphy y consideres un plan B por si el primero falla, que lo hará.

Por la mañana: paseo con el perrito, labores domésticas, curación de contenidos, preparación del post de Holos&Lotus.

Por la tarde: otra tanda de curación de contenidos, lectura de artículos de blog, edición y publicación del post, tareas variadas de Hive, paseo con mi marido y el perrito.

Hi, dear hiver.

Since I woke up it has been raining until a few minutes ago. Water that falls well, softly and continuously so that the ground retains it for longer and replenishes the depleted reserves. The downside of this circumstance is that Rocky's morning walk had to be shorter and I didn't go shopping for the house. I hope to make up for it with the afternoon outing to get to the minimum of activity.

Have you tried the Ecency decks and waves yet? As I get used to this new way of organising the content I like on Hive I find them more practical. At a glance I can see if there are new things to interact with, and by the way, my Ecency points tally is going up without me noticing, thanks to posting a few waves during the day and responding to others'.

Today is Power Up Day (PUD). I haven't done it for months, I prefer to turn on the whole Hive as soon as I have it instead of waiting. In return, I am one of the few users who manages to comply with the Power Up Month (PUM), which I achieve through these reports that I have set to 100% rewards in HP. My goal is not to be satisfied with that and reach the Power Up Year in 2023. I'm almost half way there! Will I make it to the finish line? I hope so. For the time being, I'm focusing on the day-to-day and moving forward.

My reflection

With the new month we change the main aspect to meditate. Once we have distinguished the concrete actions that we must execute, we face the problems that we will encounter. No matter how you handle it, there will always be one. The Stoics called it praemeditatio malorum, which can be translated as premeditation of adversity.

The theory is simple: for every obstacle we encounter along the way that gets in the way of our plans, we will use the inverse clause that we have prepared. What does the latter consist of? It consists of anticipating everything that could go wrong and establishing an alternative plan to follow in such cases.

Be careful, I warn you that you can get immersed in pessimism before the time is right, and that does not contribute to the success of our mission. I say this from experience. But I also recognise that it is useful for maintaining serenity and helps us to get back on track more quickly. The priority is to get back on track once the impediment has been removed.

In short, in case I have made things more complicated for you, is to anticipate Murphy's law and consider a plan B in case the first one fails, which it will.

In the morning: walk with the dog, housework, content curation, preparation of the Holos&Lotus post.

Afternoon: another round of content curation, reading blog articles, editing and publishing the post, various Hive tasks, walk with my husband and the puppy.
