My Actifit Report Card: June 13 2021

Another easy day for exercise as I still haven't gotten used to the heat yet. We complain when it's cold but it would be great to have a bit of cool and rainy days (not likely unfortunately).

The land is so parched here and the creeks are dry as a bone. It was nice to see actual running water and green landscapes on our trip to Utah last week.
Spent the morning enjoying the shade at the dog park although Lulu wasn't too active with the heat and preferred to lay in the shade with her friends.

Went for a rolling afternoon walk when the temperature dropped into the low 80s. Not the best pace but at least my hip and knees can handle this effort without discomfort. Plus the late afternoon/early evening sun is lower so the trees along my route provided nice shade for a good portion of my walk.
Maybe tomorrow I might try a bit of a jog to see how my body feels but probably not too strenuous right now.
