India will start the three-match T20 series against south africa on september 15. India have announced a 15-man squad ahead of the series. Mahendra singh dhoni and jasprit bumrah were not included in the squad. All-rounder hardik pandia has returned to the squad. Dhoni is currently traveling to the united states after 15 days in paramilitary duty. But the selectors did not contact him to know if he could play against south africa. Navdeep aini deepak chahar and khalil ahmed have been named as specialist pacers in the 15-man squad. Pandias younger krunal pandia has also been called up in the squad. Bhuvneshwar kumar who is in the drawn game has been rested in this series. Apart from him India are all in the T20 squad for the ODI series against the west indies. will be the second T20 match after september 15 and september 18. The third and final T20 match of the series will be held on september 22.
