This was the kind of behavior that @sportsmod had warned about. Anyone attempting to sell influence will stand a chance of being moved to the SPORTS penalty box and have their influence on the community dropped.
As @treze pointed out in another comment below this is not nearly as good of a deal for users as it would appear. 50/50 curation will mean this account will earn nearly 2200 while users only walk away with 100 SPORTS (2200/2=1100-1000 for bid.) This will likely be even worse if any of the @referee accounts were to downvote your post for abuse.

@sportsvoter is not doing the same thing. It is offering upvotes in Steem and not SPORTS. By offering SPORTS upvotes you are breaking the social consensus on a post's worth from the SPORTS community. This is why we are not allowing pay to play upvotes within the platform.
By the way its funny you should mention it. I am the owner of sportstalksocial and I do walk most days. I even try to share them via Actifit when I remember to do so. You mentioning this will help me remember to share for today! /sarcasm

I was doing my best to guide you from the penalty box but threatening users with retaliatory downvotes is the exact kind of behavior we'd like to keep off of this platform. I will be happy to take your downvote in Steem but unfortunately you'll be sitting in the SPORTS penalty box and won't have that option for a few days at the least.
