My Experience of Working Hard to Achieve this Result

Greetings friends of Hive and wekeendexperiences, today I am going to share with you again my experience in the initiative promoted by @galenkp, in which it shows us several themes, to choose the one that most identifies us and describe our experience in this selected content.

The topic you select for this week is the one that refers to hard work to excel and be able to achieve the desired result. To begin with, since I was in primary school, I didn't like some sports that I had to practice in a subject called physical education, where we students practiced soccer, volleyball, gymnastics, because they didn't catch my attention. But one day the Physical Education teacher gave us a test called oxygen consumption, which consisted of running for 15 minutes, and the one who completed the most laps around the field won, and that winner was me.

This is how I discovered my passion for running, I began my formal training with a team of runners from the community where I lived and where my three brothers were also. My beginnings were not easy at all, because I had to share my time between high school studies and training, but over time I adapted to this sporting activity and when I participated in my first competition, which was some student sports games, I arrived among the last.

It should be noted that at the beginning, training took place every afternoon, with the entire team of 11 runners. At the beginning I felt muscle pain in my legs, because I was not adapted to training practically 5 or 6 days a week, but later They took away my pain and I adapted. The marks I made were 6 minutes per kilometer, I was one of the slowest on the team of runners, sometimes one of the runners who had more experience criticized me and said that he didn't see that I was improving my marks.

Likewise, I participated in many running competitions where I could not win, but as I trained, a runner friend gave me a training plan with new strategies, which included sprints and long-distance training, and with this I began to improve my skills. marks at different distances. This requires great effort, dedication and sacrifice, because I got up at 5:00 am to enhance my track and cross-country training. Before, the 5K times were 20 minutes, 10K 42 minutes, and 21K 1 hour with 30 minutes.

After these new changes in training, I managed to improve my marks in 5K, 18 minutes, in 10K, 36 minutes and in 21K, 1 hour 20 minutes, that is, I greatly improved my times with these training changes. It is not easy to achieve success in any sport, it is required first of all that you really like what you do to achieve success in any discipline or in a job you are doing.

I hope you liked my experience, see you in a next publication.

Despite the adversities that arose, you persevered and obtained good results.

I remember that many years ago I got up early to run and the first few days I got tired quickly in a few minutes and my body ached, then as the days went by I ran for pleasure, without pain and with the desire to do more and more.
