Monday Run - 12km

dannewton just finished a 12.03km run, that lasted for 73 minutes.

Description from Strava: After a busy and chaotic day yesterday (4 hours in a car with my partner starting university, 2 hours carrying a car load of stuff up 3 flights of stairs in her accommodation, and then 4 hours on the train to get home) I was looking forward to a nice easy run today.

I spent so long sat down yesterday, that my legs ached? Sounds weird but it was tue!

It was a relief to get outside this morning and get them moving again. I aimed for a medium-ish run today of just over 10km, and for a change I did a loop down in Waddington, before heading back up to do the standard lap around Bracebridge Heath.

It brought me to a total of 12 km, and it was nice and easy. Weather was a cool 13C and with a just a hint of drizzle, it was a pleasant run out.

Now for a spot of lunch, and then I can crack on with tidying the house up. In the process of packing all her stuff into the car on Saturday evening (and having to re-pack due to too much stuff) the house is right mess lol.

About the Athlete: Living in the UK, I am an intermittent Runner, but always striving for more consistency. When I'm not training I can be found photographing insects or listening to really loud angry music (which is the best type of music obviously!)

Kudos to you Dan, it tires me out just thinking about it. I'm sure I saw you running round the ring road on Saturday, around mid day. I just felt lucky to be in the car, music on 😁

Cheers Brian, and yep that probably was me on the bypass on Saturday!

I do enjoy it (most of the time) and I've done it on and off for years. Making more of an effort to do it now as my desk job is so lazy
