Did a relatively fast 10k after work yesterday. Quite happy with how it went and hope not to be feeling too much muscle pain today and tomorrow...

Balearic championship 10K on the road.
I just did it by the way and it probably has been my worst 10km in a looooooong time...
Because of the (hot) summer and the triathlons (sprint, so with only 5K running) I've been doing I haven't been running enough kilometers and I haven't been picking up pace yet. It turns out that both are very important and cannot be "replaced" by some cycling and swimming. !HUG

Sounds like a couple of things coming together. It can happen. As long as you learned from it, it will make you stronger in the future 💪

(no space) to get help on Hive. InfoI did, but I kind of expected this to happen.
But I wanted to do it differently to other summers. First of all I wanted to try a triathlon, so inevitably I needed to train for it which means less running and (more) cycling and swimming instead...
Less running + less pace sessions means less endurance and a lower base pace....

...On the other hand cycling and swimming adds certainly to the complete base training to start to build up towards the crosses. This means that I expect to be stronger than before in the winter IF of course I start to build up running now... !PIZZA
