Partizanka is a nick name for the Partisan mountain hut near Mala Kopa on Kope, Pohorje mountain range. Yesterday I was there twice. Early in the morning on a trail run from Kope and later in the day on a family hike. It was great. Mountains, views, fresh air, wind, smell of green meadows, planes of blueberries,... Nature at its best.
Words can't describe the joy. So I'll let the photos to tell you the story.
Velika Kopa, early morning view towards Mala Kopa.
Almost there. The hut is hidden in the trees to the left of the ski lift.
Before I reached the hut I paid the tribute to the partisans who fought for our freedom in this area.
Hence the name of the hut.
I greeted the innkeeper and promised him that I'll return later with the family.
On the way back I meandered a bit.
At first I followed the Slovenian Mountain Trail.
Then I left the main trail and found this little hut.
Later, on a family hike... Puma in flowers.
Energy points on Velika Kopa and a distant storm.
Lunch at Partizanka.
It was another beautiful day.
