A field at rest over the coming winter.

A long and narrow meadow with a view towards civilization.

The same meadow, looking back at the way we came.

It was a cloudy day after a rainy morning. After a long time, I had the opportunity to join my family on a midday doggy walk. It was a joy.

This walk, coupled with the evening run, brought me a 17 K @actifit count.

No, I didn't. It's young winter wheat, I think. This was a cornfield and the farmers have seeded a sort of grass to rejuvenate the soil. I am not an expert so I am partly guessing here :)
