How's your week so far? Good I hope! 😊

Yesterday morning I took my bike and my dog and went to another supermarket at the other end of town. I was on a mission, it was the first day of a special offer they were running on ultra light wind/rain jackets made with recycled materials! Good for me, good for the planet! They cost 14,99€, coincidentally what I had left yesterday on my Binance Visa card. I'd wanted one for a couple of years, ever since I found a new one only to lose it a few days later! I wasn't going to miss this opportunity! Only a few hours after the offer had begun, one could tell they'd been good sellers! Fortunately I found one in my size and a colour I liked! I paid with my Binance card and off I went! Happy! 👕💳😄

It was downhill on the way back, alongside the palm trees! 🌴😉

It was taken when I was coming back out, he saw me and wagged his tail, then I stopped & got my phone out for the photo and he got anxious that I wasn't going to him yet! lol

24 emails on bureaucracy this morning! Just for 2 documents! One eventually arrived but is password protected so useless to me, the other arrived but with an address from 12 years ago so also useless!!! I also requested an appointment with another service and was given the 12th of December....erm that's a Sunday! So I'm still waiting on everything! Today seems to be backwards day!!! Everyone got it wrong! Better luck tomorrow I hope!

I have done well from the crypto.com rewards. Not only have I accumulated a lot of CRO from cashback on my Visa card, the price of CRO has gone up a lot since I started. So it has been a nice little earner. Some of the CRO I have exchanged for other big cap cryptos. Some I have staked to up my level on crypto.com Visa. The app is easy to use and tbh, for me personally, their customer service has been exceptionally good. So happy customer!

That bureaucracy really sucks! I hope things get better.

I think I will, as with you though, its just a case of time. I have so much on at the moment.

The UK gov have also just introduced more travel restrictions which is going to make my plans even harder. Wasn't in my plan to self-isolate on my return.

But you are vaccinated, no? Surely there's no self-isolation involved if you're vaccinated! Unless of course you're going to South Africa for example!

With the new restrictions, you need to self-isloate on return to the UK until you have a negative PCR test result. Which can take days unless you want to spend loads of money on an express test.

The whole thing is a bit of a waste of time as I would need to take public transport home from the airport and to the Covid test site for the PCR test. It's also completely unenforceable so many will just not bother. Oh well, I give up on logic!

It's nice to see Boris serious for once, he's almost unrecognisable! I'm pleased to see he's making the mask wearing in public places mandatory at last, although it needed yet another variant for that to happen and of course true to caracter, he's not wearing one himself!!

I'm sorry that it makes things harder for you, but under the circumstances, it really does seem to be the best course of action! Ridiculous of course if non enforcable.

I am just hoping the new variant just isn't so bad and things can get back to normal rather than once again approaching Christmas with things moving in the wrong direction. Let's see.

Time will tell, we're not out of the woods yet! Things were very good here for the last couple of months, yet now cases have started rising again here too! It would appear to be the beginning of a sixth wave!!!
