My Actifit Report Card: March 13 2023
Hello fellow actifiters,
It's Monday again, how time flies. I have a flu but I still went and started my Monday workout routine! I began with a 10-minute warm-up and stretching to get my blood flowing and ready for the workout ahead.
First up, I tackled push-ups for my chest, completing 3 sets of 13 reps. This was with a different hand position though, it's a little narrower than las week. I've had a hard time with my last set, when I reached the 10th rep, I needed to pause and stretch my arms for while then continued on to 13. This is my first exercise so there's only few sweats here.
Next, I moved on to bodyweight squats, completing the first 2 sets with 15 reps. Then 18 reps on the 3rd set. This is the same sets and reps from last week except for the last set which is 3 reps more.
For my shoulders, I did 3 sets of 10 reps of push-ups, which is 1 rep more from last week. Now I'm sweating a lot.
After that, I moved on to lunges, completing 3 sets of 15 reps per leg. To finish off my workout, I did 3 sets of 60-second planks.
After the workout, I spent 10 minutes stretching to cool down and prevent injury.
All that work has made me crave for Picadillo. A dish from my hometown, Zamboanga city. I don't the the recipe but I've found one from Youtube. Here's the link if you'd like to try it too.
I replace the pork lungs and heart with the one's from chicken since I don't eat pork.
I don't know if got the recipe right, but it did taste as I've remembered it should be. It's nostalgic!
