Changing my routine | My Actifit Report Card: September 15 2025
Greetings, I didn't quite complete 10,000 steps today, but I was pretty close. I also logged some steps on the treadmill. When I have time and I'm not feeling too antisocial, I end up going for a short walk, but this past month I've been feeling pretty low. Today I'm regaining a more positive attitude because I can't let myself get down.
I've decided to change the distribution of my workouts because I now understand how my body responds, as well as some of the mechanics of movements and the benefits of combining some exercises together. I started the week with a somewhat relaxed leg workout, so to speak, to end the week with something a little more intense. My decision was also based on the fact that I usually started the week heavy and would certainly taper off the rest of the week, but I've also realized that I'm not starting to perform for the next workouts. I'm listening to my body and improving.
I also officially added abs exercises. I used to do them at home before, but when I started the diet, I stopped because I was told that my efforts weren't going to be worthless if I didn't lose fat. I think I shouldn't have listened to that comment. Although they're right, if I had continued on my diet in parallel, the muscles in that area would probably have been more noticeable when I lost fat, since they would have been worked out. However, now it's like starting over.

Saludos, hoy no terminé de completar los 10k pasos pero estuve un poco cerca, algunos pasos también los conseguí en la cinta, cuando tengo tiempo y no me siento muy asocial termino por salir a dar una caminata breve pero este último mes he estado bastante baja de ánimos, hoy estoy retomando nuevamente una actitud más positiva porque no puedo dejarme derrumbar.
He decidido cambiar la distribución de mis ejercicios porque ya entiendo como responde mi cuerpo y también un poco de la mecánica de los movimientos y los beneficios de colocar algunos ejercicios juntos. He comenzado la semana con entrenamiento de piernas un poco calmado por así decirse para terminar la semana con algo un poco más intenso. Mi decisión también se basó en que solía comenzar pesado en la semana y ciertamente iba disminuyendo el resto de la semana pero igualmente me di cuenta de que no estoy empezando a rendir para los próximos ejercicios, estoy escuchando a mi cuerpo y mejorando.
También oficialmente añadí los ejercicios de abs, yo antes los solía hacer en mi casa pero luego cuando comencé la dietq dejé de hacerlos porque me dijeron que mi esfuerzo no iba a servir de nada si no bajaba la grasa, pienso que no debí escuchar ese comentario, aunque tenga razón, si hubiera continuado y en paralelo mi dieta, probablemente al bajar la grasa se hubiera notado mejor los músculos de la zona, ya que estuvieran trabajados, sin embargo ahora es como empezar de nuevo.

It’s really inspiring to see how mindful you’re being about your routine and listening to your body! Changing the order of your workouts and adding abs back in shows a lot of awareness and commitment.
In the past, I didn't understand when people said to listen to your body, but after experiencing so many things, going through difficulties, and more, you start to notice how your own body reacts. Abdominal exercises are important; not only working the visible part, but also the core, which is where all the strength lies.
Listening to your body is something we only truly learn with time and experience. And yes, the core is the center of balance, posture and strength for all movements.
