Lower body training | My Actifit Report Card: December 5 2025

Back to exercising today. I'd been feeling a bit strange and finding it hard to get up early; in fact, it's been difficult. It's probably because I've been quite restless and stressed all month. I resumed my routine. This week I only went to the gym on Monday and Friday. To avoid feeling bad about myself, I pushed myself hard, did abs, and added some cardio, so it was a pretty intense workout.

Last month I completely avoided upper body training because I've been having shoulder pain. I thought it would go away with rest, which is why I haven't even been going to the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays. But it's been a month now and it's still there. It's true that it's less severe than before, but it's still there, and I definitely can't do some movements because they hurt. Honestly, I haven't gone to the doctor to get it checked out because I've been a bit short on money these last few months. I can cover my basic expenses, thankfully, but I can't do more than that. I hope things stabilize soon, and it's not that I don't want to take this seriously, it's just that going to the doctor is always expensive.

Hoy devuelta al ejercicio, había estado un poco extraña y me estaba costando levantarme temprano, de hecho, se me está haciendo difícil, seguramente es porque todo el mes he estado bastante intranquila y con mucho estrés. Retomé mi rutina, esta semana solamente fui a ejercitarme el lunes y hoy vienes, para no sentirme mal conmigo misma entrené pesado, hice abs y agregué un poco de cardio, así que fue un entrenamiento bastante intenso.

El mes pasado evité completamente hacer entrenamiento de tren superior porque estoy teniendo una molestia en el hombro, pensé que se me pasaría con el descanso y por eso no había estado ni siquiera yendo al gym los martes y jueves, pero ya ha pasado un mes y sigue ahí, es cierto que en menor medida que antes pero sigue ahí y definitivamente no puedo hacer algunos movimientos porque molesta, sinceramente no he ido al médico a chequearme eso porque estos últimos meses he estado algo corta de dinero, sí puedo cubrir mis gastos básicos, afortunadamente, pero no puedo hacer más de ahí, espero estabilizarme y no es que no quiera darle importancia a este asunto es que realmente ir al médico siempre es costoso.

Sorry to hear about your shoulder pain... honestly, I always feel like I've got something that's painful... sometimes back, or elbows, this week it was the back of one shoulder.

Bummer that you've been anxious and stressed this month... that makes everything; sleep, eating, working out, etc so much harder.

So sorry about your shoulder pain, avoiding any kind of upper body exercise will help pending when the pain will stop, wishing you quick recovery on that.

El ejercicio es de las mejores cosas que se puede hacer para reducir el estrés, espero tengas mejores días. Por otro lado, cuídate esa molestia en el hombro, con solo descanso es un poco más demorado, no se si te has hecho terapía frio-calor eso ayuda a la recuperación de lesiones. Te colocas hielo por 20 min, y luego inmediatamente te echas un poco de agua tibia. Te mando un abrazo y las mejores vibras querida amiga.
