Yesterday, returning from my absolutely fantastically beautiful weekend hiking in Pieniny Mts, I made a stop at my hiking companions place. Meant to be just a coffee and cake, we ended up trying some nicely sweet Romanian wine. This meant my car had to stay there overnight and gave a good reason for my morning walk today.
Here are the results of Round 1 of qualifiers to Season 3 of Poliac Champions League. Both legs together. Congrats to the winners - they now have to battle thru Round 2.

I'll reveal a secret: I am going to run a consolation cup for eliminated players. 16 players, play-off mode (two legs per round, except final). The winner will have a slot in the Season 4 Champions League. Stay tuned, details coming soon.

In most pairs the seeded (so theoretically stronger player) won. Only one exception:

Most seeded players had solid wins (defeating their oponent in both matches). Only one exception, when the score was deciding:
