new.things just finished a 5.18km run, that lasted for 34 minutes.

Description from Strava: Strava2hive. I was running a little late this morning and then just struggled to get into the 8x400m with 200m recovery this morning. The bigger days at work seem to ready take the edge of my mid week intervals.

I was told, it's not intensity but consistency.

Yes I believe consistency and lots of easy running is important but I like to do a harder run at least once per week.
