Sunday morning run | 30km run
Good morning friends!
Welcome back at my running blog! Yesterday evening I was able to register for a new small marathon on the 30th of November. Here I will help 1 (and hopefully 2) close friends to break their 4h time goal. One of the friends did 4:11 on Rotterdam last april - so we can definitly make it work!
My own running goals for the remainder of this year will focus on more time on the feet (maybe an ultra run?) and more hills training - this so I can take the time to prepare for the 2026 Jungfrau marathon (which has close to 2000 m elevation gains)
For now - I just went out for a fun run! Didn’t had a time goal in my mind. Started at my pre recovery pace and basicly forgot that the recovery period is also slightly reducing your ability to maintain the pace for longer periods haha - so the pace was slightly reduced over the distance. But this is fine - I will be starting a new training block so my speed and conditioning will be back in no time!
The weather today was a bit odd - oppressive weather due to high humidity, so I was hoping it would start raining but it just stayed like it was! I was happy to have taken some drinks (water + electrolyte) and a few isotonic gels with me!
As I ran on sunday early morning there was hardly anyone during the entire route with quite some nice views - which made it again an amazing experience!
Happy running!
Committing to new challenges and supporting other runners makes your training have a great purpose! Congratulations you combine motivation and planning at the same time. Cheers.
Thank you for the kind words!
