Sportstalk Curation Showcase #37
Hello and welcome to the final Sportstalk Curation Showcase for 2022 as the year draws to an end. The idea behind the Showcase is to highlight our users to the Hive community showing off out talent. Maybe by being highlighted the authors can pick up a follow or two as that is the hope anyway. The following posts are all live meaning they fall within the 7 day window of curation at time of posting. Now that the World Cup is a thing of the past we can get back to a sense of normality.
First up this week is @korver with his post on what Christiano Ronaldo's future could be. The problem he has is his age and he is in the twilight of his career so there is not much he can really offer. He is a typical prima donna who doesn't know when it is time to retire when the rest of the world is showing him the door. I suspect he will end up in the Middle East or the States which would not be his first choice as he wants to still compete in the Champions League. Wherever he goes for some reason he creates news as people are interested in what he does.
@sports.guy55 writes about a topic many of us can resonate with as I know I certainly can. Terrible when you are in a team that is generally weak and you are strong as the result is you will lose more than you win. The hope is your team mates will improve, but that is rarely the case. If you play against stronger teams as a team the chances are you wont improve that much, but individual sports this is the exact opposite. You can only learn from players better than you are which will eventually rub off and improve whatever game you are playing. An interesting topic by @sports.guy55 as always and look forward to his next post.
The premier league is back up and running which means the team behind the @hivefpl account are hard at work again. It is great knowing the results and reflecting back and this post is basically spot on with one game to play tonight. Picking winners and losers is no easy task especially after a long break which we have seen due to the World Cup. Did your players perform in your Fantasy team or was it another round of missed opportunities?
I would just like to say thank you to everyone involved in the Sportatalk Tribe who contribute to making this such an enjoyable task of curating each week. If here is anyone who has some spare time and wants to assist me please feel free to leave a comment.
