Morning Run: Sprinty

It was our pub session last night that was a lot of fun. Nine musicians plus a small audience who joined in. This morning was a little overcast, but it has been warming up and I may get in the pool soon.
I did another of my intervals sessions on the West Drive hill. I had some of my best times in a while on that. One of the joys of Strava is that you can define any 'segments' you like and see your progress on them so I know how I am doing. The last couple were a little slower, but I was tired by then.
I had noticed a tangle of wires on one of the poles I passed. I assume it is all telephone, but seems a little untidy.
When I got home I was able to pick a handful of strawberries from the garden to add to my breakfast. The raspberries are doing well too.
I should be running at parkrun on Saturday. I saw one of the team at the dentist this week and he told me there is a plan to have pace runners in a few weeks. I will volunteer for that as I have never done it. I need a target time that I can easily manage. Then it will be a matter of checking my progress on the run to help others hit their goals.
I have my first meeting with a local drum teacher this evening to see what they can help me with.
