steevc just finished a 7.09km run, that lasted for 42 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 545.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
Rather randomly there were some slices of bread on the grass near my house.

This was just a run to stretch my legs. I have the Standalone 10k on Sunday, so I do not want to wear myself out, but I will probably do parkrun on Saturday.

It is definitely turning cooler now, but I soon warmed up on my run up to Fairfield. Once I got going I did increase the pace a little. As I came back down the hill I was striding along quite happily. I hope I can find the same energy on Sunday.

I am just about recovered from Hivefest. Other people came home with COVID, but I tested negative and feel okay. I was just a bit tired after the long days and travelling. I was enthused by all the cool discussions I had over the weekend. Hive is really going places and I encourage everyone to get an account. It costs you nothing and then you have lots of possibilities to earn.

Run free and stay well.

Good to hear, after coming back from Hivefest I was feeling so sick and tired. I tested for covid and the result was negative, it was just flu nothing much...Take your time and take care...

I think there is such a thing as Hivefest flu, which may not always be COVID. You are talking to people from all over the world and some are bound to be carrying a virus or something. I was sick after one of the previous events.

Get well and enjoy the happy memories.

Maybe someone was trying to feed the birds. That is pretty odd that they were just laying on the ground like that. Better than the syringes that I once found in my yard at one of my old houses!

If they were feeding birds then it should be broken up. I expect there is some story behind this, but we will just have to imagine what it could be. I think there are drug issues everywhere, even in our village.

Yeah, it is probably hard to tell. I could come up with a million fun stories about how it got there!

What does "the Standalone 10k" mean? It's a kind of chrono-competition? Like everyone has the run alone and leaves with x seconds difference? !BBH
