steevc just finished a 7.53km run, that lasted for 44 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 541.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
It has really changed since my Sunday run in the snow. By Monday morning the winds had swung around to bring in some warm air making it about 14C warmer. All the snow has gone leaving everywhere quite wet with thick layers of leaves in places.

I did my usual run up to and around Fairfield. I was not going to get cold this time. I was wary of the leaves being slippery, but I had no incidents. I was not going all out for speed, but did push a bit in places. As usual I just tried to keep going even when it felt hard.

There were a few people around, but I do not think I saw any other runners. Things are winding down for Christmas with the kids off school and people using up their holiday.

I was happy when it came time to run back down the big hill. I just extended the run a bit near home.

I may not get to parkrun on Saturday, but I may do one on New Year's Eve. There may be an opportunity to do one the next day too. That would be a first for me to do successive days. With all the extra calories I take on at this time I need to keep running to burn some off.

Run free and happy Christmas.

Nice job on your run. I thought sure we were going to skip this morning, but my wife pulled herself out of bed, so I knew that I had to as well. We are looking at getting up to a foot of snow by the weekend. We already have a little on the ground, so it would appear a white Christmas is in store for us.

Not much chance of a white Xmas here. That may be all the snow we get this winter, but it's getting harder to predict these days. It's great that you can exercise together. My other half is not into it, but she is pretty active generally.

Good job man. Your city weather is very cool and beautiful. I also decided to start running from today. Running is very important for our health and body and also sharing my actifit report daily.

Running is one option for fitness and not for everyone. I don't do Actifit as it doesn't fit my needs, but Hive gives us options.

I'm in Belgium now, and i've heard the same: 20 degrees difference in just a couple of days! Insane!
And good that I wasn't here last weekend because they call it "quite ok" with 10 degrees, wind and rain right now .... :-(

It all depends on where the winds come from. Air from the Arctic will be cold
