Do you like shopping?
Cool! I also like shopping. Okay, maybe not as much as girls do. We do a lot of things that we need to do. That's our lifestyle. We work hard because we have to live a happy life. Sometimes we face unfavorable situations that are totally unexpected.
Last time we talked about women's self defense. If a guy attacks you, puts you on the ground and gets top of you, what can do you in that situation to defend yourself? If you have not read that post yet, you can read the post now.
Women can face different situations and even get attacked on the road. So what can you do in those situations for self defense. Let's watch this video. In this video, you will see three different situations, how a woman gets attacked and how she defends herself.
Always be aware of the surroundings where you are. If you are aware of your surroundings, you can avoid or deal with any potential danger more effectively. You can respond and make your move fast.
When a guy comes to attack you, defend and counter-attack pretty fast, and get out of there as soon as possible. When you attack the attacker, he will get hurt. So you do not want to waste your time standing there. Move from there as fast as you can and don't give him another chance to attack you.
Safety for yourself always comes first. At the time of attacking, you have to understand the distance between you and your attacker. If he is in the kicking range, you can kick. If he is in close range, you can do palm strike, hammer fist, and elbow strike.
In case the guy grabs your wrist, you have to know how to release your wrist from his hand. Let's watch this video again.
Pay attention to 2:20 - 2:50 minutes. If a guy grabs your wrist and you just pull, it is not going to work. You can grab your hand, pull and twist. He cannot hold your wrist anymore.
You can use another technique to release your hand. Move your hand in a circle in the direction of the attacker's thumb. One thumb cannot hold your hand, and you can release your hand easily. Then counter-attack and get out of there pretty fast.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. If you find it useful, please let me know. If you like to learn more about martial art and self defense for your personal development or as a lifestyle, you can check out some of my recent posts.
