Attacking The Central Line

(Edited)

Have you ever seen a fight where two guys are fighting and punching each other?

They both get hit. If you get hit while attacking your opponent, that's a problem. You are there to strike, but your opponent uses the opportunity when you close the gap to attack him.

We also hear that especially from people who practice Wing Chun, attack the central line. If you want to attack your opponent's central line, you can. When you are in a close range, your opponent can also attack you. So it is better to attack your central line, not necessarily to your opponent central line.

There are different concepts of fighting. The way you act and the way another person acts, that can be different. You usually do how you have been trained. Your martial arts background and training have a significant influence on it. That's why when we see Bruce Lee's fight, you will find some moves that are very similar to Wing Chun.

You see some Wing Chun moves in Bruce Lee's fighting style because he learned Wing Chun from IP Man at the beginning of her career. You can use what you like best. I try to share different things and give you more information about it.

When you defend your opponent punch or kick, you can attack right away. At the time of your attack, you can move to the side of your opponent, of course, it is your central line, and you can strike. From there, it would be difficult for your opponent to attack you, and that's not his central line.

No matter how much you know, you will find something that you do not know. It is fun to learn something that you are passionate about. If you are passionate about martial arts or want to learn self defense, you can check out my blog @RezoanulVibes.
