Splinterbowl FFL - The Fight For The Playoffs

In case you weren't aware, some of your favorite @splinterlands social media personalities are playing together in a Fantasy Football League (American) and this week will be the last week of the regular season. 5 of the 6 playoff spots are locked up, but the final spot is up in the balance!

You'll notice a very popular streamer at the top of the standings -- @hawks21. He has been dominating this league from the very start, beginning the season with a 9-game winning streak! His strategy of prioritizing WRs and aggressively picking more up through the course of the year has paid big dividends.

The top two seeds in the regular season get a first-round bye for the playoffs, so three teams are chasing @aftersound for that second spot. Aftersound controls his destiny since he is a game ahead of the three teams behind him, but if he slips up and loses this weekend, any of the teams behind him would pass him based on the Points Forced tiebreaker. Luckily, I have the inside track due to my 2nd highest points total, so if Aftersound loses and I win, I would slide into that last bye. It certainly makes my TWO losses this season by LESS THAN A POINT all the more painful looking at these tight standings.

@bravetofu (who plays Bangkok Braves) controls his destiny for the final playoff spot, so if he wins, he is guaranteed to make the playoffs. But seeding will also be important, as teams try to avoid playing Hawks in the quarterfinals and semifinals. Here are the matchups for the final week of the regular season.

I'll do my best to keep everyone updated with what happens in the playoffs over the next few weeks so you all can follow along with the results of The Splinterbowl FFL.
