Llega un nuevo martes martes y nos espera un nuevo #treetuesday, este divertido desafío al que nos invita nuestro amigo @old-guy-photos, semana a semana.

This week the challenge is invaded by a feeling that involves mixed emotions, nostalgia.

Esta semana el desafío está invadido por un sentimiento que implica emociones encontradas, la nostalgia.

Nostalgia is that crazy feeling of enjoyment for imagining a moment or situation in the past and at the same time the desire to relive those moments and not be able to cling to them. It is a feeling that is very much related to missing. This is exactly the feeling that autumn causes

La nostalgia es ese loco sentimiento de disfrute por imaginar algún momento o situación del pasado y a su vez el anhelo por volver a vivir esos momentos y no poder aferrarse a ellos. Es un sentimiento que está muy emparentado con el extrañar. Justamente esto es el sentimiento que causa el otoño.

That feeling of having enjoyed a very short time ago beautiful sunny days, the green of the trees, the warmth of the sun. So little time has passed that if you close your eyes you can even feel the beauty of the warm seasons, where life flourishes wherever you look at it.

Esa sensación de haber disfrutado hace muy poquito tiempo de hermosos días de sol, del verde de los árboles, del calorcito del sol. Tan poco es el tiempo que ha pasado que si uno cierra los ojos hasta puede llegar a sentir lo lindo de las estaciones cálidas, donde la vida florece por donde se la mire.

Today everything is different, the streets have been dyed an ocher color and the sun no longer has the same intensity. To feel its warmth, you have to curl up in a corner where the cool autumn breeze does not give us.

Hoy todo es distinto, las calles se han teñido de un color ocre y el sol ya no tiene la misma intensidad. Para sentir su calor hay que acurrucarse en algún rincón donde no nos de la fresca brisa de otoño.

The days are much shorter, at 18 hours the sun has hidden and with it our souls, waiting for a new dawn. The birds are preparing to spend the winter, they prepare their nest, they feed very well and take care of their plumage, to try to cope in the best way with this harsh season that is approaching.

Los días son mucho más cortos, a las 18 horas el sol se ha escondido y con él nuestras almas, a la espera de un nuevo amanecer. Las aves se van preparando para pasar el invierno, acondicionan su nido, se alimentan muy bien y cuidan su plumaje, para tratar de afrontar de la mejor manera esta dura estación que se aproxima.

Without realizing it, we are reaching the shortest day of the year in the southern hemisphere, but there is still a long way to go, with days of intense cold with temperatures that will surely drop below 0º C. If we are lucky we may see snow fall.

Sin darnos cuenta estamos llegando al día más corto del año en el hemisferio sur, pero aún queda un largo recorrido, de días de frío intenso con temperaturas que de seguro bajaran de los 0º C. Si tenemos suerte quizá veamos caer nieve.

As we spend these pale days, I choose to walk among them if only with my mind. Imagining the pure and fresh air that is breathed when walking by his side, fills me with energies.

Mientras pasamos estos días pálidos, yo elijo caminar entre ellos aunque tan solo sea con mi mente. Imaginar el aire puro y fresco que se respira al caminar por su lado, me llena de energías.

When we want to realize it, the intense green will begin to sprout from the trees like a new rebirth, then the flowers will come and with them the birds will teach how to fly and to look for food for their chicks that were born about the end of winter.

Cuando queramos darnos cuenta, el verde intenso comenzará a brotar de los árboles como un nuevo renacer, después vendrán las flores y con ellos los pájaros enseñaran a volar y a buscar comida a sus pichones que nacieron sobre el final del invierno.

Soon, very soon the green will take over the streets, the sun will shine with more intensity, the flowers will begin to open decorating the city. I open my eyes and realize that there is still a long way to go and nostalgia invades me again.

Pronto, muy pronto el verde se adueñara de las calles, el sol brillar con mayor intensidad, las flores comenzarán a abrir adornando la ciudad . Abro los ojos y me doy cuenta que aún falta mucho y allí la nostalgia me vuelve a invadir.
