100 Squats (155#) and 5 mile run. dead legs. March 7 2022
We had 100 backsquats @155# programmed today. 5 reps every minute for 5 min, then we did 9 calories on the assault bike every minute for 5 min. We did 8 rounds of those, so that at the end we had done 100 reps of back squats and 90 calories on the bike.
It was pretty mental, but I looked at it as 5 more reps, 5 more reps. Since it was every minute it went very fast. The #gif shows rep #96 out of 100.
You almost didn't have enough time to really think about it. My running is helping my recovery. I am able to control my breathing much more easily also.
I went on an almost 5 mile run a few hours later.
