Triatle training: September 25 2025

Next Saturday will finish the modern pentathlon season / year 2025 with another and last championship: Biatle. The most easy one but at the same time not the most fun one or not the easiest to dispute, especially when you're a lousy swimmer like me...

It's made even more easy and less interesting for me because no more repetitions... Just 800m running - 100m swimming and another 800m running.

Today last training in triatle, shooting, swimming in the sea and running. One fast round and afterwards 3x repetitions.

How beautiful is this setting!!

I think it is a good idea for schools to at least learn the basics of swimming (both as sports and for safety), especially in physical education sessions !INDEED. 🤔🧘‍♂️🏊‍♂️🤓 !LOLZ

In Belgium they definitely do and did already when I was a kid. Here in Spain, I don't think they teach the kids even the basics of how to swim and assume that the parents do this... !STRIDE !WEIRD !HUG

I think that if teaching swimming (especially for safety purposes) for kids is not part of school curricula, students (and their parents) should still be encouraged to do so by schools (and other institutions) !INDEED. 🤔🧘‍♂️🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️🧘‍♂️🤓 !HOPE !WEIRD !HUG

When doing sports (Physical Education) is a part of school curricula, and there's a relatively easy access to z swimming pool, swimming could be taught as one of the sports... !HOPE !STRIDE !wine

The mere presence of a swimming pool in schools would already encourage many students to learn about swimming !INDEED. 🤔🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️😎😏 !WEIRD !HOPE
