dannewton just finished a 13.12km run, that lasted for 88 minutes.
This run helped dannewton burn 1004.0 calories.

Description from Strava: A shorter post today... (I'm trying not to write an essay every time I post haha!)

So I was working from home today, and for once I was manning the phone in the morning slot, and not the afternoon slot as usual. This meant I was actually able to finish almost exactly on 4pm. And that was a good thing, as last week I mentioned I wanted to make this run on the Wednesdays a little longer.

I've been doing 9-10 km for the last few weeks, and I just wanted to make it a little longer.

I've been running through Waddington and down to Harmston for the past few weeks, and so the easiest thing to extend the route was to go straight through until the next village

And that would be Coleby, below.

I took pictures of the signs so you couldn't accuse me of fibbing lol

And so that was that. Some more nice and easy zone 2 stuff, I wasn't really checking the pace tonight, it was all about keeping it easy. I arrived at Coleby at 6.5 km:

...and then I promptly turned round and ran home again, for a total of 13km in just under 90 minutes. That'll do nicely. The weather was bordering on almost perfect running weather, bright and sunny, but still cool and with a small breeze as well.

And there was good reason for finishing sharp at 4pm, as it meant I could do a decent run, and still have time to have tea (and shove the bins out quickly) before I settled down to a Teams call from my partner for the rest of the evening.

Uni update, she is getting on really well, so its all good :-)

Tomorrow, I'm back in the office, but will squeeze in a small run after I arrive home in the evening (I'll need a torch for that one!) Then it'll be a much needed rest day on Friday before my long run on Saturday. I fancy going on a little adventure again, so I might be checking out Whisby Nature Park as part of the run on Saturday, but I'll see how I feel about the distance though, as it'll probably end up being close to 30km if I do that route.

I guess you'll have to check back in at the weekend and see if I attempt it...

Checks word count... over 400 words! I guess that's a little shorter than I have been writing, but not by much!

It's good to see that you have continued this routine and you go for a walk every day. It is very good for a person's health. Human health is good through it.

No side walks or foot paths. Is it quiet enough to run on the road or are you on the grass.

Hey. Sorry, those pics are a little misleading... all those signs are on a grass verge, there are paths the other side of the road which I was using.

There are small country lanes that are quiet enough to run on, but generally I avoid those and stick to paths (either man-made or proper trails)
