Autumn has arrived, and with it, the new, 24th season of the international virtual POLIAC tournament has begun. Two players did not show up for the start. In accordance with tradition, we will wait for them until the fifth round at the latest, after which they will be disqualified. The first round showed that this year's season promises to be extremely exciting, and the favorites did not disappoint. The next matches will provide answers to questions about the players' form and their aspirations for this season!

Right from the first round of the 24th POLIAC season, the competition for the Golden League champion's title is picking up speed. The results show that it wasn't the defending champion, @bucipuci, who dominated the first round. The most decorated player and six-time gold medalist in POLIAC history surprisingly lost to @browery, who achieved an impressive score of 31,860 steps. It was @browery who, after a spectacular start, took the lead in the standings with 3 points and the best score of the round.

Standings After Round 1

Besides @browery, several other players secured convincing victories, including @danmaruschak and @erikklok. Among the Golden League debutants, @revlat35 proved he's not here by chance, defeating the decorated @manuvert and earning 3 points. The second debutant, @wahacoce, will have to wait for his first win.

At the bottom of the table, in addition to @bucipuci, are other strong players like @cezary-io, who finished 2nd last season. In this round, he lost to @new.things.

What's Next?

In the coming rounds, it will be interesting to see how the favorites who started the season with losses will react. Both @bucipuci and @cezary-io will certainly do everything they can to make up for their losses and prove they are capable of fighting for the top spots. Will @browery maintain his leading position? Or will new players like @revlat35 be able to continue their winning streak and shake up the top of the table?

It seems clear that this season will be full of surprises.

The first round of the POLIAC tournament in the Silver League brought a lot of excitement and fierce matches. In the competition where players from around the world try to take as many steps as possible, the first leaders and losers have emerged.

Key highlights from Round 1:

At the top of the standings, with a full 3 points, are nine players, including both newcomers and veterans. @tom45p stands out, not only winning his match but also achieving the best result in the entire league (21132 steps), for which he received 100 AFIT.

Successful Debuts: New players in the POLIAC Silver League, @caspermoeller89 and @zubygeee, made a very successful entry, each earning 3 points. The result of @caspermoeller89 was particularly impressive, as he took 15210 steps, beating his opponent by a large margin. On the other hand, @borniet, the last of the debutants, recorded a loss in his first round.

Fate of the Relegated Players: Two players who were relegated from the Golden League, @silvertop and @actifit-godfish, had a difficult start. @silvertop recorded a narrow loss, but @actifit-godfish distinguished himself by achieving the best result among the losers (15146 steps), for which he received a 100 AFIT prize. His high step count shows that despite the loss, he is still a strong contender.
