steevc just finished a 5.41km run, that lasted for 33 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 393.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
It is a few days since I ran. I was marshalling at parkrun and on Sunday it was raining, so I did not feel like going out. I did have a fairly long walk though. My 10km race is next Sunday, so I am taking it fairly easy. I just wanted to do about 5km today.

Yesterday I was at a jazz jam session with a few friends that was fun. I need to play more guitar to be ready for our gig next month.

I stayed around Arlesey and ran down various back streets to stretch out the distance. It was not too cold, but there were a few spots of rain. At least it is properly light in the morning now.

Outside the White Horse I found this piece of a walking stick. You have to wonder what happened there. Some old folks depend on a stick to get around.

Our solar panels are being installed this week. They were delivered today and a group of guys arrived to install them. It should only take a few days, but it seems they sent the wrong hooks to attached them to the tiles. There is still work to do on installing the battery. This is the second attempt at an install as we had to do more preparation for where the battery will go. The scaffolding went up last week.

Have a great week and run free!

It's wood. It may be from an umbrella rather than a walking stick.

Seem like i'm false once again, maybe its rare wood then or maybe an industrial 5c piece

It was just an unexpected thing to find.

I've wanted panels for a long time, but now we have the money to pay for them. Should get it back over a few years.

Definitely worth the investment! Would also like them one day, we have so much sun here! It's great that you guys finally achieved this goal, will help bring down the electricity bill immensely.

Now that’s a calm before the storm. Keeping it relaxed and easy awaiting the big day when all the work you have been putting in is going to be brought out. Wishing you nothing but the very best, in the up and coming run, ahead of you.

How exciting! I am really jealous of your solar panels! I had planned on taking a walk on the treadmill Sunday morning, but by the time I got finished vacuuming the house I had run out of time. I expect I will be able to put a couple miles in one or two days this week.

I needed to get back before the stuff was delivered to make sure it's all okay. Seems they sent the wrong clips to hang the panels on the roof, so those are on the way. They are doing the wiring for now.

That sucks about the delay, but still very cool!

They have 3 days for the job and hope to finish in that time. I'm sure they have other jobs to get to.

Outside the White Horse I found this piece of a walking stick. You have to wonder what happened there.

I envision one of those old folks using their walking stick to "correct" someone who needed reminding to mind their manners and respect their elders.
