Welcome to our weekly rewards post for @strava2hive.

I am waiting for summer to come along in Auckland but it seems to be taking a little while this year. It has been rainy for most of the month, and lucky I have my treadmill to keep me running. Racing season has started for us though, which won't stop just for the rain, so there is a lot to keep me occupied with. Even though a lot of our users on @strava2hive are in the northern hemisphere, they are all still putting in a lot of work and some great posts again coming through.

I will be watching the world cup in the next few weeks, so hopefully it won't take away from everyones activity. The end of the year is coming very soon, so I know people are starting to think about their new years resolutions and getting healthy. We had another good week with 54 posts using the service which again is awesome.

We are continuing on with the leader board working on "Calories" burned over the week.

Updates For The Week


Progress on the code is slow but it is still moving, and hopefully will be time to be testing the new code and data store properly this week. Hopefully any broken posts will not effect anyone else's work.

@run.vince.run Cool that you've been setting up the Curation Trail. I'm nr 7 here :-) I hope lots of people will sign up!
Do you have any idea what happens when I'm putting an automated vote of let's say 25% for @Strava2hive posts and a 20% on the curation trail? It'll pick the highest upvote?

1 more question @run.vince.run: I guess the rewards pool is getting filled by people upvoting certain posts? Can you outline which posts exactly? I'd like to contribute a bit more if I'm capable to.

The Hive Rewards Pool stays the same even when lots of Hive users vote much in a short period of time, which means that more posts and comments will have to compete for rewards on the Rewards Pool at the given point in time, which then means less author and curator rewards for each upvoted post and comment during a "voting surge". 🤓 !PIZZA !CTP
