Strava2Hive Top 20 Rewards Post - 2023-01-08
Welcome to our weekly rewards post for @strava2hive and bring on the new Top 20!
We have had a nice jump in participation and usage and I am happy to announce that rewards will be provided now to the top 20 users where are posting with @strava2hive.
So what dose this mean, well the same rewards will be provided but we will have more users getting rewarded. This will mean your reward may be a little smaller than what you are used to but, it means we can share the rewards across more users.
As well, we had another big jump in the number of posts for the week. We have hit a new PB with 85 posts using the service, which is awesome and maybe, we can hit the magic 100 mark in the next few weeks.
We are continuing on with the leader board working on "Calories" burned over the week. Rewards will be provided to the top 20 users of the @strava2hive service.

Service Updates For The Week
Nothing for any users to worry about but there was a security issues with one of the products I use to run the service, so I have been changing passwords to make sure there are no issues from our side. This did cause a delay in getting some posts onto Hive, but it was sorted quickly.
The datastore is still running along nicely and speeding up the processing for the service. I have had some extra time to code, so I am working on stability.
Like I mentioned previously, I would also like to get more than one photo transfered across from Strava, but having a lot of difficulty understanding how Strava organise all this, but stay tuned, hopefully I will have this sorted soon.

Thanks! Service runs smoothly as always! Now that Strava allows you to upload videos, will this be a future feature for the strava2hive service? Not sure how videos work with hive, but if Strava has then available, linking them embedded might be possible? I might be completely wrong here 😅
Hey @michelmake I think it is a good idea and should be worth adding in. Strava have not updated their documents regarding video upload yet but it would be interesting to see if it is possible. Thanks for the suggestion.
I have a problem with my toe and can not run this week. I'm taking medicine now and hope it can recover soon. I really love strava2hive service. This is something I'm looking for for a while and I will introduce it to my runner friends ;)
