did you read this announcement? With your step counts (if they are on the Match Days), you should be able to reach QFs easily. And even if you don't go any further, you are on a good way to get the "Surprise Award" sponsored by @aliveprojects - it

will go to the player who becomes the biggest surprise of the season. It will be the player who started from Round 1 of qualifications and reached the furthest stage. If several players achieve the same, total score will be taken into account.

You could also aim for this:

Special Prize
The player with the highest AVERAGE score across all matches (applies only to players who have played at least 6 matches in the main phase): 1% share in all @C/MAcFiT posts for Season 7.

@merthin
Prizes and Awards are Special encouragement for me. Now I have 200 delegated power for one month that I win in a contest, I want to increase my own HP which is required for posting and commenting on others posts.
Before delegated HP, sometimes at the end of the day I have no RC to post my Actifit Report then I wait and next day I post Yesterday's Report.

I am wondering if any other #MAcFiT player follows our conversation. If they don't, they are in for a big surprise when they face you in a direct match :-)

What to expect?

Last season, the average score that guaranteed a win in the group phase was 27k. On the other side, if want to be sure to lose a match :-) the average was 13. You are closer to the higher of the two.

As Season 5's Finals are in play today/tomorrow, we will learn on Saturday who gets free admission and who plays in Round 2 of Eliminations.

For the time being, you can rest and watch the Round 1 duels. Your potential rivals will come from these, so it's good to know in what shape they are. Some of them are newcomers to the competition.

Schedule - Round 2 of Eliminations

Leg 1: Friday, Feb 4
Leg 2: Sunday, Feb 6

Hey @merthin, thanks for the update.
Leg 1: Saturday, Jan 29
Leg 2: Monday, Jan 31 does this mean the steps made on those days even if they are posted the next day or is it the date of the post that counts?

You can post your report either late on the MATCH DAY, or next day - but then do not forget to use YESTERDAY option in @Actifit app

I always post the next day, thanks! So it's the day of the steps that counts, not the day of the post! OK good to know! ;)

correct, the Match Day is when you should do the steps. You can post in the evening of the same day (I do that), or use the YESTERDAY option on the next day (I think most @actifit 'ters do that)

OK now it's clear! Thanks! :)

yes, the date in your report counts (the one automatically inserted by Actifit, not the subject line)

OK now you confused me! You say yes to what I just said but now you say the date of the report counts, not the date of the steps!!! As the automatically inserted date added by Actifit is always the date the report is issued but not necessarily the date the steps were taken! So is it the day the steps were taken or the day of the report (regardless of when the steps were taken)?

I hope I have clarified in my other reply. To reiterate:

your Match Day is today (MONDAY). You walk your steps today. Then you have two options:

  1. Before going to bed, you post your @actifit report with default option. Your steps and your report are therefore on the same day.
  2. You feel tired in the evening and go to bed without posting your report. Tomorrow (TUESDAY) morning you choose YESTERDAY option in your @actifit app and the app will get the steps for MONDAY and insert the correct date (MONDAY) into the report. What is confusing though, is that if you don't change the subject line, the date will be the date of posting the report (TUESDAY). But in our competitions we take into count the date which is INSIDE your report - because this is the date when you did the steps (and it cannot be modified, whereas the subject line can be edited)

todo claro?
