The first weekend of Season 7 behind us, it's time to publish results. Consolation Cup players have already seen results of Round of 16. This post is for Champions League players.

@matthew1, the Defending Champion, is well on his way to quarterfinals. His rival for the top spot is @bucipuci. I think that @practicaleric and @mariya36 will be left behind to battle for the 3rd place (which means transfer to Consolation Cup)

The situation looks similar to group A - "9-6-3-0" points. There's a fundamental difference however. Between @roger5120, @sandraa1 and @danmaruschak all is possible - just look at their scores. @homesteadlt will most likely finish last.

@merthin and @cezary-io scored the only tie so far in the group phase. They are safely in lead and could secure quarterfinals early on - if they win their Thursday matches. @browery for the first time in his @macfit 7th appearance started the season with 3 losses. His chances for quarterfinals are bleak, but he can still best @ilodz24hd to finish 3rd and stay in the game.

What's Next

The top two players advance to the Quarterfinals. Players who finish 1st will be seeded according to their total score in group phase. They will face players who finish 2nd, sorted in reverse order of their total score.

Players who finish 3rd in their groups, will be transferred to Consolation Cup quarterfinals and will be seeded there. Their rivals will be the winners of Consolation Cup Round of 8.

As of now, @merthin and @manuvert occupy the two top spots. @matthew1 is lurking close behind. @flaxz and @cezary-io could also pose a threat to the leading duo.

@masoom doesn't play this season, so he will dropping in the table with each game.

Seeding in Round 2 of Champions League Qualifiers for Season 8

The players marked in blue will start the qualifiers for Season 8 Champions League in Round 2. That's important, because even if they lose there, they will be transferred to Consolation Cup and therefore participate in Season 8.

@racibo is also marked blue, as he will get a Wild Card for his result in March edition of @poprzeczka.

Seeding in Round 1 of Champions League Qualifiers for Season 8

Players who are in green and are still in play, can advance at the expense of "blue" players or if players above them win a free admission slot. Failing that, they will start Qualifiers into Season 8 from Round 1.

@asia-pl and @venan are not in play already and they will most likely fall out of the green
