Season 10 - Consolation Cup, Round of 24

Hello,

Another reminder for Consolation Cup participants - you start the tournament today (FRIDAY, Aug 19). All rounds of Consolation Cup are play-offs, with two matches played always on Friday and Saturday. Be active and post your @actifit report cards (both "Today" and "Yesterday" options are allowed) and I will do the rest.

In the second part of the post I am outlining the ranking points. Business as usual for Consolation Cup, but important change for Super League players.

Speaking of Super League - please remember that you start the tournament on Weekend One (Aug 26 thru 29). During Weekend Zero (now) you may want to submit a post into the @macfit community (rules here) to increase your score.

The ranking will decide entry / seeding for the seasons that follow. It's a rolling rank over 4 seasons, with weights decreasing with passing seasons (100& - 75% - 50% and 25%)

Consolation Cup

Players will earn ranking points:

• 0,5pts for participation in a round (a total of 5 play-off rounds and the Final)
• 1pts for won match (2 matches per play-off round, one in the Final)
• 0.5pts for winning the Final

Max for the Winner:

• 6 x 0.5 = 3pts per round entered
• (5 x 2 x 1) + (1 x 1) = 9pts for won matches
• 2pts for Final win

Total: 16pts

Super League

The important change here. Since we do not play matches against one another, ranking points are only earned for participation in a round.

• 1pt for participation in Weekend One
• 3pts for participation in Weekend Two
• 5pts for participation in Weekend Three
• 7pts for participation in Weekend Four

The Final Four players (Weekend Five) will earn:

• 10pts for 4th place
• 12pts for 3rd place
• 15pts for 2nd place
• 20pts for the Winner

Max for the Winner:

• 1 + 3 + 5 + 7 = 16pts for 4 rounds entered
• 16pts for the Final win

Total: 36pts
