My Heaviest Lateral Raise (12.5KG[27.5 Pounds])

Every gym rat knows, the lateral raise is the most difficult exercise to progress in. A lot of people get stuck on 6-10kg for months or even years. I'm one of those people, 10kg is the highest I've ever done for lateral raises, but I've decided to progress by force.
Today I tried with 12.5kg and I must keep increasing the weight with time. It worked alright today, but I had to keep my elbows bent to achieve it and my form wasn't quite perfect.
I'd keep raw dogging it like this cos progress has to come and shoulders are about the most beautiful muscles, I gotta have that 🌚.
The End
Hi there, buy my novella Professor Otagburuagu. It promises to be thoroughly entertaining and intellectually stimulating. Written by myself and illustrated by Scandinavian artist @ katharsisdrill. You can get it from me for just 4 HBD.

Thank you!
Practice surely makes perfection. As long as you keep at it, you'll work with a higher number next time. Well done on today's activity.
Pushing past limits with lateral raises is tough, but your determination is solid, those shoulders will be worth it!

Upvoted 👌 (Mana: 34/54) Liquid rewards.
Of course, I also did some monthly gym sessions, so some of the exercises were quite difficult and this is one of them, but we have to do each exercise carefully and use safety equipment.
Nice work pushing through with the 12.5kg! Lateral raises are definitely tough to progress in, so it’s inspiring to see you going for it. Form will come with time... what matters is that you're showing up and leveling up.
Keep it up mate! 💪
Thank you very much! 😀
Yo, what was the 1 Hive for?
You're welcome mate!

Progress is one of the things that help us know we are getting better in whatever we do. I hope some time, I will register in thr gym and start out my own journey.
