well, I guess being active when one is hungry is not that easy. This said, I do my morning walk (around 6am) before breakfast and my last meal the previous day is usually before 6pm. Depending on the day, I do 6-10km, which gives me 7-13k steps. This should be enough to survive the first weekend.

You live in the UK, don't you? At this time of the year the sunset is still pretty early. A couple years ago the Ramandan was in June and a friend of mine who lives in Stockholm had really a tough time - the window between sunset and sunrise was only about 3hrs!

I think the key is finding the right time of day to be active. If you do it too early, you still have all day to go without drinking water. Later in the day you feel weak because you haven't eaten all day. Then after eating you feel bloated if you eat too quick and then can't exercise properly. I usually try not to eat too much and then exercise afterwards but since the days are getting shorter, I might try this year just before I stop fasting.

Your are right, in the UK a few years ago it was a killer as the sun sat so late and it felt we had such a short time to eat - not quite a bad as 3 hrs but not much more either. It's getting into the easy part of the year and in another 5 years time it will be relatively straightforward.

Cheers !wine

Great, the new Macfit season is here! As always, thanks for setting this all up.
If I can survive the first week end (I will be on vacation with friends and I think there'll be more driving than walking), I have a chance to do okay.
Happy stepping, !ALIVE

the first weekend is easy - last season the cut off line was around 20k for the weekend. Serious competition starts with Weekend Two

A taxi driver was getting flirty with a woman in a bar.
At the end of the night he took her back to her place.

Thanks mate. Too bad that the weekend isn't Saturday-Sunday....
On Fridays I don't reach a lot more than 5000 steps while on Saturday and Sundays I generally reach the 10 000 steps... !PIZZA

this is to make it fair for those who do steps in their work. They typically rest on the weekends. On the other hand, those who work behind the desk, have a chance to up their step count on Saturday

Ah ok, I see. I actually need to rest in the weekend even if I'm behind a desk at work... the problem is that I don't do it !LOL But it's good for em at least to score on Saturdays hahaha

Hi. Great score, but just short of qualifying (36 total was the cut-off line). You get a ranking point and hopefully see you next season
